France recognizes that the government of El Salvador builds peace

The Vice President of El Salvador, Félix Ulloa, by appointment of President Nayib Bukele, recently participated in the Peace Forum organized by the Government of France.

This forum takes place on French Armistice Day, and only nations that are committed to peace processes are invited.

Ulloa spoke with the French president, Emmanuel Macron, and explained to him that El Salvador is advancing in the construction of peace, which was not achieved with the governments of ARENA or the FMLN.

The vice president stressed that the scourge of gangs has been eradicated and that one of President Nayib Bukele’s commitments is to seek strategic partners who want to cooperate with El Salvador.

«The Peace Forum, organized and invited by France, can only be accessed if, as a country, we are working for peace and if there is a real commitment to the issue. The government of President Emmanuel Macron has seen what has been built in El Salvador, and today it recognizes us by inviting us to this important forum,» explained Vice President Ulloa.

He also mentioned that there was a meeting with the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, to seek alliances with the mayor of San Salvador.
