The ambassador explained that the country has become a business model for the world, with President Nayib Bukele being one of the main promoters thanks to the implementation of different strategies that have generated more trust among them and better security.

“President Bukele is the main element for the country to position itself at a global level; first because he was successful in handling the pandemic, and then in developing the most successful strategy on the issue of security”, she explained.

Mayorga participated in the forum developed by the Central American Parliament called “The Impact of Bitcoin in El Salvador and Main Trends in the Use of Digital Currencies in the Central American Region.”

For Mayorga, the use of Bitcoin in the country has had a very important acceptance. In addition, this has allowed a financial transformation for the communities.
