The Ministry of Health delivers 50 incubators to Bloom Hospital

A batch of 50 incubators was received this afternoon by the Benjamín Bloom National Children’s Hospital by the Ministry of Health (Minsal).

«These are teams that have everything necessary to provide the care that newborns need» — said the Minister of Health, Francisco Alabi, during the delivery.

Of the 50 incubators, 30 are fixed, while the remaining 20 are hybrids, which allow all the care processes for the newborn to be carried out inside.

According to information from the Minsal, the incubators will be assigned to the Neonatology, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Unit, Infectology, Operating Room, Neurosurgery, and Internal Medicine services of this hospital.

With this delivery, there are 105 incubators that will be available to patients who require special care after birth.
