El Salvador and Honduras strengthen strategic alliances for the economic development of both nations

Officials of the Government of President Nayib Bukele and diplomatic representatives of El Salvador and Honduras held a working meeting on “Strategic alliances for the development of the logistics chain of Puerto La Unión.

It is expected that this meeting will strengthen ties of friendship and develop strategic alliances in logistics that will economically benefit both Honduras and El Salvador.

The president of the Autonomous Executive Port Commission (CEPA), Federico Anliker, stressed that this board is “part of the actions aimed at economic reactivation”, around a work table in which representatives of different state portfolios of both participating nations.

“These meetings provide opportunities to establish strategic alliances that lead to the development of a logistics chain, through the institutional articulation of both countries” — said the head of CEPA.

The official pointed out that “this is the route for when the presidents of El Salvador and Honduras meet. We will work together now that President Xiomara Castro has arrived at the executive branch. This is the Morazán dream that many have dreamed of”
