This morning, the government of President Nayib Bukele, through the Minister of Health, inaugurated the sixth CPTA “La Esperanza” addiction prevention and treatment center in Cuscatancingo. The Executive Director of the Solidarity Fund for Health, Dr. Carlos Núñez, and the National Anti-Drug Commission, Eduardo Loyola Arguello, were present at the scene.
“For us, it is a special day because it marks a new stage in the history of service in this sector” — expressed the director of the Recovery House, Marvin Sotelo.
“It is impossible not to be able to locate the context in which this center is inaugurated, a commitment to make visible phenomena such as alcoholism and drugs” — said Director Edgardo Loyola.
This project then becomes one more branch of the health system in El Salvador to bring help to people with alcohol and drug problems.
“Having the inauguration of this sixth center is important, because this population was made invisible” — declared the Minister of Health.
“There have been efforts by people with big hearts, but there has never been support like the one that comes from this government” — he added.
