The delivery of computers and tablets is part of the Links with Education program, promoted by the government of President Nayib Bukele and executed by the Ministry of Education (Mined).

In this regard, the head, Carla Hananía said that they are about to start the delivery of tablets for students in the first cycle of basic education.

“To date, we have delivered a little over half a million computers to teachers and students. Then comes the second phase, which is the delivery of tablets to the younger children. We hope that in the first semester of this year, all the students will have their machines » — she affirmed.

For its part, the distribution of computers to teachers and students keeps moving forward on a national scale. This week, teachers from Soyapango, Ilopango, and San Martín, received their equipment. In the case of those who suffer from chronic illnesses, the Ministry is in charge of taking the computers to their homes.

Likewise, public sector students continue to receive their computers, arriving these days in Rosario de Mora, Nuevo Lourdes, San Marcos, Cuscatancingo, Quezaltepeque, among others. The computer has Windows 10 and a free internet connection.
