The government of El Salvador has inaugurated its embassy in Turkey, which will strengthen diplomatic, commercial, and investment relations between the two countries.
This was announced by President Nayib Bukele, at a press conference after the meeting he held with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as part of his official visit.
“This day, we inaugurate our embassy, yesterday I gave the instruction to our chancellor to double our staff to have people in charge of each area,” the President told the press.
As part of the tour, the Salvadoran Head of State stated that agreements will be signed in different areas such as military technology, education, energy investment, among others.
