El Salvador’s First Lady Gabriela de Bukele Announces Partnership With Cambridge University to Strengthen Early Childhood Education

El Salvador is expanding its international academic partnerships through a new agreement with the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, aimed at strengthening the country’s Early Childhood Education model.

First Lady Gabriela de Bukele announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding designed to support research, promote continuity in learning, and establish academic recognition for the country’s new national curriculum.

The partnership seeks to reinforce the foundations of early education by connecting El Salvador’s educational reforms with international research and academic expertise. It also represents an opportunity to enhance the quality and long-term development of the national learning framework.

“El Salvador no longer dreams small; it dreams of being even bigger,” Gabriela de Bukele emphasized, highlighting the country’s ambitions for educational development.

The agreement reflects the government’s efforts to position early childhood education as a central component of its national development strategy, while building institutional links with internationally recognized academic organizations.
