El Salvador’s Trade Expo 2026 Connects Local Products to U.S. and International Markets.

El Salvador has officially inaugurated the first edition of Trade Expo El Salvador 2026, a two-day landmark commercial fair taking place October 12–13. Co-organized by Invest in El Salvador and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of El Salvador (Camarasal), the event aims to position the nation as a central trade hub by directly connecting local productive capacity with high-potential international markets, particularly in North America.

The inaugural expo brings together 76 national enterprises across key industries—including food and beverage, retail, consumer goods, packaging, manufacturing, technology, and business services—and 46 international buyersrepresenting markets in North America, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Over the course of the event, organizers expect at least 450 targeted business matchmaking sessions designed to facilitate concrete export contracts.

Highlighting the scope of the initiative, Camarasal President Leticia Escobar stated that the trade fair serves as “a platform that connects Salvadoran talent and productive capacity with business opportunities and international markets.”The strong international turnout reflects growing global demand for Salvadoran goods and reinforces ongoing efforts to scale national export capabilities.

Invest in El Salvador executive director Samadhy Martínez emphasized that foreign buyer participation underscores widespread commercial interest in the country’s offerings, noting that “this demonstrates external interest in purchasing our products, and our primary mission is precisely that—to connect and seek opportunities to drive economic growth.”Organizers anticipate that future editions will expand further, inviting international exhibitors to solidify regional supply chains in El Salvador.
