El Salvador marked its Independence Day on September 15 with an education-focused event in Ahuachapán, where the Presidential Family visited the Los Toles canton to inaugurate a new school for the local community.
The inauguration brought the national celebration directly to one of Ahuachapán’s rural communities, connecting the country’s 205th anniversary of independence with continued investment in education and opportunities for Salvadoran children.
The new school represents a tangible addition to the community’s educational infrastructure, giving students in Los Toles a dedicated space for learning and development.
With the words “Independence Day, from Los Toles,” the Presidential Palace highlighted the occasion as a celebration taking place beyond the capital and in the communities that make up El Salvador.
