FESFUT-Ogilvy Alliance to Boost Football’s Commercial Growth, Digital Strategy and Sponsor Engagement in El Salvador

El Salvador is advancing the professionalization and modernization of its football sector through a new strategic partnership between FESFUT and Ogilvy El Salvador.

The alliance, announced by Yamil Bukele, is part of the broader Master Plan for the development of Salvadoran football, with a focus on strengthening the sport’s creative, commercial, digital, and media capabilities.

Through the partnership, FESFUT will work with Ogilvy El Salvador to develop new strategies for engaging fans, strengthening relationships with sponsors and brands, and creating greater commercial value around football.

A central objective of the collaboration is to reconnect fans with Salvadoran football, creating new experiences that extend beyond the traditional 90 minutes of play. The initiative will seek to strengthen the relationship between teams, supporters, brands, and the broader football community both inside and outside El Salvador.

The agreement is also designed with a long-term vision that goes beyond the country’s national teams. Its scope is expected to progressively expand to different structures within Salvadoran football, including leagues, tournaments, and other areas connected to the sport’s development.

The partnership represents another step toward establishing a more comprehensive and professional football management model in El Salvador, combining sports development with modern marketing, digital engagement, commercial strategy, and fan experience.
