El Salvador is strengthening the international presence of its premium beverage industry by participating in the Seoul Bar & Spirits Show, one of South Korea’s leading events for the spirits sector, where Salvadoran brands are showcasing products inspired by the country’s unique volcanic landscapes and Pacific coastline.
According to Federico Guerrero Avendaño, El Salvador’s Ambassador to South Korea, internationally recognized Salvadoran brands including Cihuatán, Ron de Autor, Luna Spirits, and Mizata are representing the country with distinctive products that highlight El Salvador’s natural identity.
Among the featured offerings are rum aged beneath volcanic conditions, gin and vodka distilled using basalt rock from the Izalco Volcano, and vodka crafted on the beaches of Surf City—products that combine local ingredients, craftsmanship, and the country’s unique geography.
The showcase forms part of El Salvador’s broader strategy to promote its premium exports while increasing international awareness of its tourism destinations. Through the event, visitors are also being introduced to the country’s volcanoes, beaches, and cultural attractions as part of a campaign encouraging future travel to El Salvador.
By participating in the Seoul Bar & Spirits Show, El Salvador continues expanding its commercial and cultural presence in Asia, using premium spirits as ambassadors of the country’s identity while opening new opportunities in the South Korean market.
