Official data compiled between May and July 2026 reveals a net surge of 134,843 registered Salvadorans in the U.S., up from the 919,852 citizens reported on May 1. While the Salvadoran diaspora spans multiple continents—including registered voters in Italy, Spain, Canada, Costa Rica, and Australia—the United States remains the absolute epicenter of the transnational electorate.
