A survivor rescued after spending 86 hours trapped beneath earthquake rubble in Venezuela has publicly thanked El Salvador and President Nayib Bukele for the humanitarian mission that helped save her life. Speaking after her rescue, Belkys Barreto expressed deep gratitude, declaring, “El Salvador is my new flag,” in recognition of the efforts carried out by the Salvadoran emergency teams.
