A new survey conducted by Cid Gallup has reaffirmed President Nayib Bukele’s strong public support, positioning him as the highest-rated president in the history of El Salvador. According to the latest poll, 93% of Salvadorans approve of Bukele’s administration, reflecting continued confidence in the government’s policies and national direction.
The study also reveals that 82% of citizens believe El Salvador is moving in the right direction, with respondents highlighting improvements in public security, education, tourism, and healthcare as some of the administration’s most significant accomplishments.
Security remains the area receiving the strongest public recognition. The poll indicates that 98% of Salvadorans positively evaluate the government’s security strategy, making it one of the highest approval levels ever recorded in the country regarding public safety.
In recent years, El Salvador has drawn international attention for its reduction in violence and efforts to strengthen economic growth and tourism. Government officials argue that the improved security environment has helped transform the country’s image abroad while increasing opportunities for investment and development.
