El Salvador continues attracting international investment as ZF Lifetec, the world’s third-largest supplier of automotive airbags, announced the establishment of operations in the country, strengthening the nation’s position as a competitive destination for advanced manufacturing.
The announcement was highlighted by María Luisa Hayem, Minister of Economy of El Salvador, who emphasized that the German investment represents a significant step in expanding the country’s industrial sector and creating new opportunities for Salvadoran workers.
According to officials, the arrival of ZF Lifetec will contribute to increased production capacity, job creation, and the strengthening of El Salvador’s role in the global auto parts industry.
