El Salvador continues to strengthen its presence in international markets through a recent coffee presentation organized by its diplomatic mission in Argentina. The event, held in Mar del Plata, brought together distributors, business leaders, tasters, and industry experts to sample the country’s renowned varieties.

The tasting session was organized in response to the interest of Café Cabrales, a leading Argentine food and beverage company with 84 years of experience and a strong portfolio of high-end clients. The firm sought to introduce Salvadoran coffee to its business network and explore potential opportunities for distribution in the Argentine market.

In coordination with the Salvadoran Coffee Institute, participants evaluated the unique aromas and flavor profiles of the country’s Bourbon, Pacas, and Pacamara specialties. According to the Embassy, Café Cabrales represents a significant opportunity due to its established influence in Argentina’s premium food sector.
After sampling the coffees, company representatives and guests expressed strong approval. “The quality of Salvadoran coffee truly stands out,” several attendees noted, highlighting the excellence of the beans presented.
The initiative aims to open new business opportunities for El Salvador’s coffee sector, further supporting the country’s economic growth and expanding its footprint in South America.
