El Salvador has officially announced its first Bitcoin-focused event scheduled for 2026, reinforcing the country’s position as a global hub for the digital currency movement. The announcement was made by Stacy Herbert from El Salvador’s Bitcoin Office, who revealed the upcoming Max & Stacy Bitcoin Golf Invitational, set to take place from January 8 to 10, 2026.
Herbert shared the news on X, stating, “The first El Salvador bitcoin event on the 2026 calendar: The Max & Stacy Bitcoin Golf Invitational… An all outdoor event… limited to just 350!” The exclusive three-day gathering will feature live Bitcoin interviews hosted by Max and Stacy, a Bitcoin Beach meetup, outdoor activities, and gourmet food, all set against the backdrop of El Salvador’s volcanic landscapes. While player tickets sold out on the first day, non-player Outdoor Club Party Tickets remain available for $325.
The event will be family-friendly and include music, food, and drinks throughout the weekend at El Encanto Club, with optional poker and pickleball activities. Children under six may attend for free with an adult ticket, while tickets for ages 7 to 15 are priced at $60. Tickets are currently available through the official event website.
