Steak ’n Shake to Join Bitcoin Historic Event in El Salvador with ‘Culinary Sovereignty’ Concept

The renowned American restaurant chain Steak ’n Shake has opened a pop-up store in El Salvador as part of the Bitcoin Historic event, organized by the National Bitcoin Office. The initiative introduces a unique gastronomic experience under the concept of Culinary Sovereignty, celebrating authentic food and traditional preparation methods.

During November 12 and 13, visitors to Gerardo Barrios Square, in the heart of San Salvador’s Historic Center, will be able to enjoy Steak ’n Shake’s traditional french fries, made with 100% beef tallow instead of processed oils.

According to the National Bitcoin Office, this participation reflects the philosophy of Renaissance 2.0, an ongoing movement that aims to “update everything, even the way food is prepared.” The event highlights El Salvador’s commitment to innovation, health, and cultural authenticity, showcasing how nutrition and technology can coexist in harmony.

The culinary pop-up will be open all day during both dates, offering locals and international visitors a taste of traditional flavor — reinforcing El Salvador’s growing identity as a hub of freedom, innovation, and sovereign culture.
