El Salvador continues to strengthen its image as the world’s first true Bitcoin Nation with the launch of the “Bitcoin Country Information Booth” at the San Salvador International Airport. The new initiative greets international visitors arriving for major Bitcoin events this November.
The booth is operated by students from CUBO+, an advanced training program focused on Bitcoin and Lightning Network development. Their goal is to offer personalized guidance to travelers regarding conferences, accommodation, transportation, and local experiences connected to the country’s growing Bitcoin ecosystem.
“We want every bitcoiner who arrives in El Salvador to feel welcomed, informed, and supported by our local technical community,” said one of the CUBO+ coordinators, noting that the project merges hospitality with education in sound money technology.
The initiative coincides with a landmark month for Bitcoin in El Salvador, including the upcoming Bitcoin Histórico and the globally recognized Adopting Bitcoin 2025 conference, held from November 10 to 15 in San Salvador and Bitcoin Beach (El Zonte).
With efforts like this, El Salvador continues to affirm its identity as Bitcoin Country — a living example of what happens when a nation embraces open-source money and builds a future on the Lightning Network.
