The Directorate of Integration hosted a youth dialogue on Thursday at its Zacamil headquarters in San Salvador as part of the “Floreciendo El Salvador” initiative, an effort aimed at expanding development opportunities for young people across the nation.
The event gathered over 1,000 students from different educational institutions in the metropolitan area, where private universities presented their academic programs. According to organizers, this marks the third edition of such meetings, forming part of President Nayib Bukele’s new social development model designed to provide educational and employment alternatives for youth—particularly in communities transformed after the eradication of gang activity.
In addition to university exhibitions, participants attended motivational talks and heard inspiring success stories from professionals. Organizers explained that these sessions seek to guide young Salvadorans in choosing their future careers and inspire them to take part in building a renewed and thriving El Salvador.
