The construction of El Salvador’s new National Stadium, a project donated by the People’s Republic of China, is progressing steadily, marking a milestone in the nation’s sports infrastructure.
According to Yamil Bukele, president of the National Sports Institute (INDES), the modern facility will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure that is essential for the growth and professionalization of soccer in the country.
The stadium, designed to host international-level events, reflects El Salvador’s commitment to expanding opportunities for athletes and fans while strengthening bilateral cooperation with China. Once completed, it is expected to become a central hub for sports, culture, and national pride.
Through this project, El Salvador continues to build pathways for athletic development, international recognition, and greater opportunities for future generations.}
