Cardedeu Volcano Domes: The New Way to Experience San Salvador’s Volcano.

El Salvador continues to strengthen its security, attract investment, and consolidate itself as a world-class tourism destination. In this context of growth, Cardedeu Domos Volcán has been inaugurated at the foothills of San Salvador’s volcano, offering an innovative lodging concept that blends nature, design, and comfort to create unique experiences for both domestic and international visitors.

Tourism Minister Morena Valdez emphasized that the project adds value to the country’s tourism offering at a historic moment of expansion. “We are attracting more international visitors every day, and projects like this reinforce the government’s commitment to innovation and the creation of authentic experiences. This effort reflects President Bukele’s vision of building more infrastructure, more opportunities, and sustainable tourism that benefits our communities,” she said.

The Domos Volcán experience features seven domes equipped with modern amenities, outdoor activities such as bonfires, hiking, and stargazing, all designed with a respect for the volcano’s natural surroundings.

Gabriela Sol de Guerrero, general manager of Grupo Cardedeu, highlighted the private sector’s role in the nation’s progress. “Today we celebrate much more than the opening of a new project; we celebrate the commitment of entrepreneurs to continue investing, generating jobs, and contributing to El Salvador’s growth. With Domos Volcán, we reaffirm our commitment to innovative hospitality that strengthens the tourism industry and positions the country as a world-class destination,” she noted.

The opening of Cardedeu Domos Volcán reflects the trust of private investors in the country’s transformation, marking another step in El Salvador’s strategy to boost development, employment, and sustainable economic growth through tourism.
