Seoul Spirits Show Opens Doors for Salvadoran Alcohol Exports.

El Salvador made a strong impression at the Seoul Bar & Spirits Show 2025, South Korea’s top liquor industry event, which attracted over 33,000 visitors last weekend. The country’s booth, organized by its Embassy in Seoul and two Salvadoran companies, showcased premium local spirits aiming to gain ground in the Asian market.

Cihuatán Distillery presented its aged rums—Jade, Indigo, Cinabrio, and Xaman—highlighting flavors matured over four to sixteen years. Valfer introduced an innovative coffee-infused liquor, offering a smooth, distinctive taste rooted in Salvadoran coffee traditions.

“El Salvador’s booth became a meeting point for spirit enthusiasts and traders seeking products that reflect their origins,” noted the Embassy. “This participation strengthens the country’s presence in the premium liquor market.”

The Embassy also highlighted export opportunities supported by the Free Trade Agreement with South Korea. The country’s presence at the fair was backed by Legacy Spirits, a Korean importer of high-end liquors.
