El Salvador took part in the F. Istanbul trade fair, held from July 2 to 5 in Türkiye, aiming to boost business opportunities for Salvadoran exporters. The event is one of Türkiye’s largest in the food and beverage sector and opens access to markets in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Coordinated by the Salvadoran Embassy, the country’s presence was backed by five private companies showcasing a wide range of products, including frozen foods, canned goods, organic items, coffee, sauces, honey, seafood, and chocolate.

With this diverse offering, El Salvador stood out as a strong exporter, drawing interest from potential buyers and business partners. More than 100 business meetings were reported, and existing trade ties, particularly with coffee buyers, were reinforced.

“The participation of our entrepreneurs in this fair demonstrates El Salvador’s commitment to gaining ground in global markets,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Adriana Mira. “We continue to open doors for national industry and build strong commercial ties with the world.”
