The Government of El Salvador continues its commitment to supporting Salvadorans abroad by facilitating the issuance of the Documento Único de Identidad (DUI) in key international locations. On Saturday, June 28, citizens residing in Mexico and Spain will be able to process their national identification documents in-person at designated locations.

In Mexico City, the event will take place at #221 Aristóteles Street, Polanco neighborhood, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Meanwhile, in Seville, Spain, Salvadoran nationals can process their DUIs at #8 Menéndez y Pelayo Avenue, 5th floor, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
These efforts are part of the government’s broader strategy to strengthen ties with the Salvadoran diaspora and ensure access to essential services regardless of location. The DUI is a vital document for civic participation, legal identification, and access to consular services.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Supreme Electoral Tribunal continue working in coordination to bring mobile services to Salvadoran communities around the world, reinforcing the nation’s inclusive and mobile governance model.
