The vibrant artwork of twelve Salvadoran painters is now on display at the iconic Badi Palace in Marrakech, Morocco, offering a striking visual dialogue between Central American creativity and North African heritage. The exhibition, titled Beauty of Colors, showcases the expressive and colorful styles that define contemporary Salvadoran art.

Thanks to the efforts of El Salvador’s Embassy in Morocco, the exhibition features the works of Renacho Melgar, Carlos Rosales, Efraín Orellana, Armando Márquez, José Ángel Escobar Osorio, David Rods, and Madger Linares. Also on display are pieces by Nicolás Shi, Abraham Osorio, Perseo Medina, Rodo Díaz, and Defie Mazariego.
Located in the heart of Marrakech, the Badi Palace is a landmark of Moroccan architecture and culture, attracting over 1,300 visitors daily. With the exhibition running until June 30, organizers estimate that more than 22,000 people will experience the Salvadoran collection during its showing.

Beauty of Colors is a rich dialogue between cultures, said one of the organizers. It brings together the warmth and vibrancy of Salvadoran life with the historical depth of Moroccan spaces.
The initiative received support from the Ministry of Culture of Marrakech, the palace’s conservation team, and the Cervantes Institute in Morocco, making it a significant milestone in El Salvador’s cultural diplomacy abroad.
