El Salvador is strengthening its role as a regional leader in innovation and cultural promotion by hosting the Subregional Forum on Intellectual Property and Gastronomic Tourism. The event, organized in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), gathers representatives from Central American countries and the Dominican Republic.
The forum aims to explore how intellectual property can support local development through the promotion of traditional cuisine and regional identity. By bringing together tourism, gastronomy, and territorial branding, the event seeks to empower communities and stimulate economic growth.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to sustainable development rooted in our culture and creativity,” stated a government spokesperson.
Under the leadership of President Nayib Bukele, El Salvador continues to position itself as a hub for regional cooperation and innovation.
