TResearch Poll: 90% of Salvadorans Approve of President Nayib Bukele’s Administration.

President Nayib Bukele continues to enjoy overwhelming public support in El Salvador, according to the latest national poll conducted by TResearch, a Mexican polling firm. The May 2025 survey reports that 90.1% of Salvadorans approve of Bukele’s administration, while only 8.4% expressed disapproval.

The report describes these figures as historic, highlighting that Bukele’s credibility and leadership style have established a “real connection” with the population. According to TResearch, 86.4% of Salvadorans believe what Bukele says always or most of the time, making credibility one of his strongest pillars.

In terms of national direction, 85.6% of respondents believe the country is on the right path, while 90.5% affirm that President Bukele is firmly in control of the government. Additionally, 7 out of 10 respondents stated that Bukele has exceeded their expectations during his time in office.

“His approval, credibility, and fulfilled expectations place Bukele in an exceptional position. An unprecedented political phenomenon in the region,” the firm emphasized in its analysis.

The survey was conducted from April 21 to 27, 2025, with a representative sample of 1,000 Salvadorans residing within the country who have access to a mobile or landline phone and internet.

These results reaffirm President Bukele’s regional influence and the continued public trust in his administration’s direction, policies, and leadership style. The strong approval also comes as El Salvador positions itself internationally through new security, economic, and technological initiatives.
