El Salvador’s Holy Week Goes Digital with New All-in-One Tourism Portal.

The President of the Salvadoran Tourism Institute (ISTU), Eny Aguiñada, announced the launch of a new digital platform, quechivoaqui.sv, aimed at helping both Salvadorans and foreigners explore the wide range of tourism activities available across El Salvador during Holy Week.

According to Aguiñada, the platform offers a comprehensive calendar of events organized not only by the ISTU but also by other public institutions. “These are activities not only from ISTU, but also from the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Environment, and the Historic Center of San Salvador,” she said.

She explained that the goal of the new platform is to simplify the search for tourism options across the country. “We want this platform to allow people to find in one place all the information they need to know what activities are available at different destinations,” she added.

“There’s no excuse to stay at home — you are more than welcome to keep discovering our country,” Aguiñada concluded, inviting everyone to make the most of the Easter holidays.
