DHS Confirms Deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia Due to Gang Ties and Violent History.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reaffirmed the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national with a history of violence and verified gang affiliation. Despite certain media outlets referring to him as a “Maryland man,” Garcia is neither a U.S. citizen nor eligible to remain in the country.
According to DHS, Garcia is an MS-13 gang member—a designation also confirmed by two separate U.S. judges, whose rulings remain legally unchallenged. The Department issued a public clarification through its official X (formerly Twitter) account, @DHSgov, citing serious security concerns tied to Garcia’s record.
Former Florida Attorney General Pamela Bondi also addressed the issue, stating, @AGPamBondi:
“This is not a ‘Maryland man.’ This is an illegal alien from El Salvador whom two judges have ruled is part of MS-13, a foreign terrorist organization. El Salvador doesn’t want to give him back—nor do we want him back.”
