GA Telesis, a leading provider of commercial aviation solutions, has announced the opening of a new office in San Salvador, El Salvador, as part of its strategic expansion in Latin America and the Caribbean. Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, GA Telesis was founded in 2002 and has grown to become one of the largest aerospace firms, specializing in parts inventory and services.

In a statement released on December 10, 2024, Jim Sokol, President of GA Telesis Flight Solutions, highlighted the decision to establish a presence in El Salvador, noting, “After careful deliberations, we found that San Salvador is rich in talent, which we can leverage to build a world-class team to support the region.”
The San Salvador office will provide comprehensive solutions, including the distribution of components for airlines and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) centers, supported by world-class expertise. This move underscores El Salvador’s increasing prominence as a strategic aviation hub in the region.
