The Embassy of El Salvador in France recently hosted an event titled “Promotion of Exportable Products El Salvador +”, under the slogan “Land of Legends.” Held at the historic Palacete Amelot de Gournay, home to the Maison de l’Amérique Latine, the event aimed to promote Salvadoran products and expand the export of Cihuatán rum to the European market.

The event, organized in collaboration with Cihuatán Distillery, Whiskies du Monde, and the Maison de l’Amérique Latine, featured a guided tasting session led by Cihuatán’s master blender, Gabriela Ayala. Guests were introduced to three signature rums: Indigo, Xaman, and Nantli, each showcasing unique flavors inspired by Salvadoran heritage and tradition.

Following the tasting, attendees enjoyed a curated pairing experience, sampling the rums alongside specially designed culinary creations that enhanced their flavors and aromas. The event also provided a platform for networking, connecting Cihuatán with key players in the beverage industry, including liquor distributors, specialty shop owners, trade fair organizers, mixologists, influencers, and specialized media.
This initiative underscores El Salvador’s commitment to promoting its rich cultural heritage and premium export products on the global stage, positioning the country as a vibrant “Land of Legends” in the hearts of international consumers.
