El Salvador’s commitment to marine conservation has reached a new milestone with the training of a new generation of divers dedicated to protecting the nation’s marine ecosystems. Today marked a significant achievement as these newly trained divers completed their inaugural dive, a critical step towards safeguarding marine life and preserving the health of local waters.

The initiative, backed by strategic allies and supported by the Tropical Forests and Coral Reef Trust (TFCCA) under the management of @fiaes_sv, has equipped these divers with advanced skills essential for monitoring underwater environments and removing hazardous ghost nets.
