El Salvador Delegation of 50 Entrepreneurs to Showcase at China Import Fair.

This approach will be extremely important to find new international clients for national production, opening doors to the growth of the industry.

El Salvador’s Investment and Export Promotion Agency (Invest in El Salvador) announced that it will take 50 Salvadoran entrepreneurs to the seventh China International Import Exhibition (CIIE) in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. Rodrigo Ayala, president of Invest in El Salvador, emphasized that this participation will help local businesses find new international customers and boost the country’s industry growth.

The CIIE, a major event for global companies aiming to enter the Chinese market, has seen participation from companies across 173 countries, with past transactions reaching $424.230 million. This year’s fair has already attracted over 800 companies from more than 60 countries.

El Salvador is also negotiating a Free Trade Agreement with China, a move expected to enhance trade, which totaled $1.8 billion last year. The new agreement aims to address intellectual property, services, investment, and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
