El Salvador International Airport was honored on Thursday with a recognition for its operational efficiency, highlighting its punctuality and the swift flow of its processes. The award was presented by Avianca, an airline that was recognized in the first quarter of 2024 as the most punctual airline, a feat largely attributed to the effective operations at El Salvador International Airport.
«This recognition symbolizes the synchronization between the airline’s operations and those of El Salvador International Airport,» said Federico Anliker, President of the Autonomous Executive Port Commission (Cepa).
Reyna Mejía, Avianca’s country officer in El Salvador, and Morena Valdez, Minister of Tourism, accompanied the award presentation. This accolade reinforces the commitment to the tourism industry promoted by President Nayib Bukele, aiming to establish it as a strong pillar of the national economy.
