The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adriana Mira, embarked on a working visit to Japan today, aiming to strengthen the excellent diplomatic relations and ties of friendship, as well as to promote economic cooperation and exchanges with the country.
As the initial highlight of her agenda, Vice Minister Mira participated in an event promoting high-quality coffee produced in El Salvador. This initiative was supported by Yusuke Kadokawa, owner of Coyote Coffee, an establishment dedicated to the commercialization of Salvadoran coffee beans and beverages made exclusively from this aromatic national product.

The event targeted potential clients in Kyoto, introducing them to the exclusive flavors and aromas of Salvadoran coffee varieties with the goal of creating new business opportunities.
«In coordination with the Salvadoran Coffee Council, we promoted the qualities, benefits, and characteristics of our golden bean,» stated Vice Minister Mira, emphasizing the joint efforts to continue positioning this product in the world’s leading markets.
Currently, Japan is the primary destination for Salvadoran coffee exports in Asia. Today’s activity aims to expand sales in Japan, strengthen bonds with existing enthusiasts, and attract more coffee lovers to Salvadoran coffee.
With this initiative, El Salvador seeks to not only boost coffee sales in Japan but also to deepen connections with those who prefer Salvadoran coffee and to win over more fans of this aromatic delight.
