In a notable collaboration with Casa de América and Fashion Life LA, the Embassy of El Salvador in Spain held the third edition of the fashion show «The Work of Salvadoran Artisans.» The main objective of this event is to promote the artisan fashion industry of El Salvador, connecting it with international markets.
The runway show, curated by the renowned René Barrera, featured collections that highlight the skill and creativity of Salvadoran artisans. Among the notable participants were Irene Castillo with her capsule «Artisan Collection,» Ingrid Valeriano with her collection, and the handbag brand Handma by designer Fátima Reyes.
This event not only showcased the exportable quality of Salvadoran products but also had the presence of members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Spain, entrepreneurs from the fashion and tourism sectors, as well as various media outlets.
The initiative underscores El Salvador’s commitment to promoting its artisanal products in new markets, highlighting the excellence and creativity of its artisans.
