El Salvador Showcases Its Coffee to Japanese Consumers.

The rich flavors of Salvadoran coffee once again delighted the palates of Japanese coffee enthusiasts. In collaboration with Japanese importer Coyote Coffee, led by entrepreneur Yusuke Kadokawa, samples of coffee from the Alotepec-Metapán region were presented to potential buyers in Japan.

Thanks to the support from coffee shops in Tokyo, Gunma, Saitama, Chiba, and Aichi, two coffee tasting events were organized. These events featured more than 15 different varieties of Salvadoran coffee, each processed through various methods.

One of the tasters expressed his delight, saying, “I was surprised to learn that the Pacamara variety originates from El Salvador, and I am thrilled to offer this authentic drink to the public.”

These collaborations aim to expand the commercial network for El Salvador’s prized coffee beans abroad.
