El Salvador Takes Flight: New Aviation Agreement with Saudi Arabia.

Today marks a significant milestone for El Salvador’s aviation sector as the nation continues to establish itself as a global leader in civil aviation. Homero Morales, Director of Civil Aviation of El Salvador, signed a pivotal Act of Negotiation with Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the Saudi Arabian Aeronautical Authority.

The historic event was also attended by the Embassy of El Salvador in Saudi Arabia, working closely with the Salvadoran Foreign Ministry to strengthen international ties. The President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Salvatore Sciacchitano, and ICAO Secretary Juan Carlos Salazar, were also present, underscoring the international significance of the agreement.

This act serves as a precursor to the upcoming signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and an air transport agreement between El Salvador and Saudi Arabia. The agreement aims to enhance connections for passenger travel, cargo, and mail services between the two nations.

«We continue to work towards a Salvadoran civil aviation industry that makes its mark on the global stage,» said Morales. The collaboration signifies a major step forward in fostering international cooperation and expanding El Salvador’s aviation capabilities.
