ISA World Longboard Championship Wraps Up in El Salvador with Spectacular Finale.

Playa El Sunzal, located in the La Libertad department, served as the stage for the thrilling conclusion of the ISA World Longboard Championship Surf City El Salvador 2024 on Thursday. The event brought together the world’s top longboard surfers and was organized by the International Surfing Association with the support of the Government of El Salvador.

Throughout the tournament, which kicked off on April 19th, teams from various Salvadoran government institutions maintained a presence at the venue, ensuring that this significant sporting event unfolded smoothly and under optimal conditions for the athletes.

The ISA World Longboard Championship Surf City El Salvador 2024 attracted athletes from 39 delegations worldwide, injecting vitality into the local economy through tourism activities.

This marks the sixth international surfing event sponsored by the International Surfing Association hosted by El Salvador since the current government administration took office. These events, combined with tournaments organized by the World Surf League and the Latin American Professional Surfers Association, affirm El Salvador’s status as a top-tier international surfing destination.
