El Salvador paves the way for its entrepreneurs to reach Canadian markets.

The Government of El Salvador, through the National Commission for Micro and Small Enterprises (CONAMYPE), took a significant step towards fostering international trade by signing a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of a commercial house in Markham, Ontario, Canada.

“It’s an honor to have them in El Salvador to present them with the array of products from micro and small enterprises for export to Canada,” stated Paul D. Steiner, President of CONAMYPE. “Without micro and small enterprises, any economic growth is not sustainable,” he added. “The bottom-up growth strategy requires micro and small enterprises to be a key part of the market route, enabling them to grow their businesses, generate higher incomes, and improve the quality of life for over 85% of the population, who depend on them,” continued the president of the government organization, which strengthens El Salvador’s micro and small businesses and entrepreneurship.

“This agreement will benefit micro and small enterprises, their employees, and their families, and that’s the path the country is on, growing and seeking sustainable development,” said Paul. “The concept of the commercial house bringing products from El Salvador and taking them abroad is what enables us to achieve this commercial interrelationship with other countries, and we can ensure that we are meeting the demand of other countries.” “The idea is to establish that commercial route for small and medium-sized enterprises, and on this occasion, I thank the visit of Xinflix Media because they come with the intention of becoming a commercial house in Canada,” he added.

“We had an opportunities seminar in the country, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, and it was an opportunity for many people to learn about El Salvador,” said Yau-Lap Hung, CEO and founder of Xinflix Media, after the agreement signing.

Following the signing of the agreement, representatives of Xinflix Media engaged in discussions with several small and micro entrepreneurs.

“We are very pleased; they liked our Morro jewelry, and we will negotiate the shipment to Canada,” affirmed Boris Agid Ábrego, owner of Ketsali.

“This activity benefits us to export our products. We thank CONAMYPESV for considering us,” stated Carolina Henriquez, logistics manager of Comercializadora 503.

This partnership between El Salvador and Canada holds promising opportunities for the growth and expansion of micro and small enterprises, furthering economic development and fostering international trade relations.
