According to data from the Ministry of Environment, the partial eclipse will reach 33% of its totality at 12:21 p.m. in Santa Ana, 32% at the same time in San Salvador, and 29% at 12:22 p.m. in San Miguel.
Directly looking at the Sun without specialized eye protection for observing this phenomenon is unsafe. However, students and locals at the University Don Bosco (UDB) Micro-Macro Observatory are equipped with necessary gear to enjoy the partial eclipse safely.
