In a diplomatic ceremony held today, Vice President Félix Ulloa, on behalf of President Nayib Bukele, graciously accepted the credentials of four distinguished ambassadors, symbolizing the continued commitment to international cooperation and friendship.
The newly accredited ambassadors include Vladimiro Villalta from the Sovereign Order of Malta, Jorge Rosado from the Republic of Peru, Anne Denis-Blanchardon from the French Republic, and Tomás Gómez from the Republic of Cuba.
In a notable gesture of goodwill, Vice President Ulloa conveyed El Salvador’s keen interest in strengthening friendship and cooperation with Ambassador Vladimiro Villalta of the Sovereign Order of Malta. He emphasized the nation’s commitment to collaborating in various health-related areas and expressed gratitude for the significant contribution made through healthcare clinics benefiting thousands of Salvadorans.
Ambassador Rosado of Peru highlighted the longstanding friendship between both nations. He acknowledged the positive transformation in El Salvador and the improved security climate, leading his government to waive visa requirements for Salvadorans entering Peru. This move reflects the deepening ties between the two countries.
Ambassador Anne Denis-Blanchardon, representing the French Republic, expressed her desire to enhance friendship and cooperation with the Salvadoran government. She specifically emphasized joint initiatives aimed at strengthening culture and environmental conservation.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Tomás Gómez of the Republic of Cuba conveyed his nation’s eagerness to sign a framework agreement for cooperation. This underscores the mutual commitment to fostering collaboration between El Salvador and Cuba.
During the accreditation ceremony, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adriana Mira, extended gratitude for the trust bestowed upon the government of El Salvador by the four represented nations. The event marks a significant step forward in the strengthening of diplomatic ties, fostering collaboration in health, security, culture, and environmental initiatives between El Salvador and these esteemed nations.
