As a resounding display of confidence in the nation’s burgeoning safety and growth, the renowned restaurant chain, Los 3 Cerditos, has announced a substantial investment of over $1 million in the construction of their tenth establishment. This exciting venture is set to materialize on the grounds adjacent to the well-known El Jabalí roundabout in the Primavera canton of Quezaltepeque, La Libertad, with a slated opening in early March 2024.
Los 3 Cerditos has established its reputation on its specialty of pork and pork-derived dishes. As the business has continued to prosper, they have diversified their menu to cater to a broader spectrum of customer preferences.
The new restaurant will be a two-story facility, serving patrons around the clock. With each of their establishments, the Los 3 Cerditos chain has consistently created approximately 200 direct job opportunities within the local community.
The visionary behind this expansion, Enrique Jovel, who administers and owns the family business, expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity this investment represents. He remarked, «This is a family project we are expanding, thanks to the newfound security brought about by the government. We purchased this land for our tenth restaurant several years ago, but it lay dormant due to threats from criminal elements. The current administration is eradicating these issues through their courage to transform the country.»
Mr. Jovel emphasized that this moment is ideal for investment, stating, «Our nation is evolving, and there’s no better place for business than where there is security. We are a paradise for tourism and economic growth.»
In their expansion endeavors, the Los 3 Cerditos administration will receive support from the Investment and Export Promotion Agency of El Salvador (Invest). Salvador Gómez Góchez, President of Invest, along with national investment experts, met with Enrique Jovel and visited the location for the restaurant’s tenth branch.
Gómez Góchez stated, «We have come to Quezaltepeque to extend our wholehearted support to the family behind the Los 3 Cerditos restaurant, which now seeks to expand its footprint by constructing and opening its tenth establishment, thereby contributing to economic development and job creation for numerous families in the region. As Invest, we will accompany the investor throughout every phase of this expansion.»
The venture will also receive support from Quezaltepeque’s mayor, Fermín Henríquez, who noted that the strategically located business will provide job opportunities for multiple families in the area and foster development within the municipality.
With this significant investment and continued trust in the nation’s growth, Los 3 Cerditos exemplifies the positive economic environment that El Salvador is rapidly becoming, providing a safe haven for both local and international entrepreneurs.
