In a tweet posted earlier today, the Salvadoran leader stated, “I welcomed Qatar’s Emir, His Highness @TamimBinHamad, and we discussed several agreements between our countries. During his visit, we also signed various bilateral cooperation pacts, but the most important news, we will announce soon.”
The meeting between President Bukele and Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani took place on Wednesday as part of both nations’ ongoing efforts to strengthen their cooperation and pursue agreements of mutual assistance.
