Vice President Félix Ulloa meets with new accredited ambassadors in El Salvador.

The Vice President of the Republic, Félix Ulloa, participated in a meeting with the Association of Heads of Mission accredited in the country to talk about the expansion of diplomatic relations of El Salvador with Africa and Asia, the exception regime, regional integration issues, elections, and voting abroad.

Ulloa welcomed the diplomatic corps and highlighted the ties of solidarity and friendship that the country has extended with different nations of the world, especially with Turkey, where a Salvadoran contingent has been sent to search for and rescue survivors and victims of the recent earthquake.

The vice president presented the experiences acquired during his official visits to the Republic of Senegal, where the issue of the blue economy and the Territorial Control Plan was addressed, as well as his visit to the Kingdom of Morocco for the 6th edition of the #Halieutis Salon called : «Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture: Levers for an Inclusive and Efficient Blue Economy».

During the meeting, Ulloa also announced that El Salvador has initiated diplomatic relations with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Singapore; likewise, with the Kingdom of Morocco.

On the other hand, Ulloa reaffirmed that during the six months that he exercises the Pro Tempore presidency of the Central American Integration System (SICA), he will seek to establish meetings as a forum for businessmen and investors to present investment possibilities in the country, a forum on models of security in Central America in which the success of the Territorial Control Plan is exposed and a regional meeting of the institutions responsible for the Sustainable Development Goals.
