In its statement, ACAFESAL shares that its main objective is to promote the development of coffee at the national level and defend and represent the interests of coffee growers in El Salvador. It is an apolitical, non-profit, or religious association that is governed by the laws of the Republic of El Salvador.

In their statement, they highlighted the excellent management of President Nayib Bukele and the results of projects and programs such as the Coffee Rescue Plan that directly benefit coffee growers. They also applauded the creation of the Salvadoran Coffee Institute, which brings research and technology transfer to the sector.

In their statement they state: “That in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic and secondary laws, the Constitutional Chamber is the only court with maximum jurisdiction in constitutional matters, as well as the Supreme Electoral Court in electoral matters, and in that sense, being ACAFESAL, an Association respectful of the country’s institutions, we respect, SUPPORT, and recognize the legality of the Presidential re-election, issued in a sentence by the Constitutional Chamber of the Honorable Supreme Court of Justice.”
