This morning, the Minister of Economy, María Luisa Hayem together with the head of tourism, Morena Valdez, and the Secretary of Commerce and Investments, Miguel Kattan, announced important investments in the hotel sector for El Salvador.
The Invictus Investmen Group, headed by Charles Yi, Daniel Baldwin, and Tim Alek, announced an investment of $1.2 billion to build three hotels in El Salvador.
The real estate developer, Charles Yi, reported that he will make a millionaire investment with the construction of three hotels, where it has been contemplated to install part of the film studios.
“These hotels can be summed up in three words that describe them better than anything. Number one is that it’s immersive, it’s something to experience, and it’s also entertainment” — he said.
Similarly, actor Daniel Baldwin explained that next summer they will shoot a reality show in El Salvador.
Likewise, he reported that among his plans is to bring his family to the country in July to document everything that happens in El Salvador.
For her part, the Minister of Tourism, Morena Valdez, highlighted that El Salvador is one of the most outstanding countries in the growth of tourism during 2021 and the first three months of 2022, according to the World Tourism Organization.
The Minister of Economy, María Luisa Hayem, stated that she is very happy to have a roadmap for the next steps and will ensure that these projects become a reality. “El Salvador has everything to shine” — she stated.
The political and legal stability that the government of President Nayib Bukele generates continues to attract more local and international investors.
