Pacamara and bourbon coffee specialties are grown in the Trifinio Region, so the Vice President of the Republic, Félix Ulloa, accompanied by diplomats from the United Kingdom and Russia, visited the coffee farms in the area.

Salvadoran coffee is internationally recognized for its flavor and quality. That is why the government of President Nayib Bukele supports producers to improve their crops.

One of the most important objectives of the government is to promote the quality of Salvadoran coffee grain in different world markets. Therefore, it promotes actions to benefit the coffee sector, such as: promotion of sustainable production; innovation; market information; institutional strengthening; business management and financing.

The Trifinio Region covers 34,000 hectares, which means a secondary forest of great importance for coffee cultivation but also for water infiltration. Coffee represents a strategic item in the economy of the area.
